In Barsky district library for children opened a Point of European information (+photo)
In Barsky district library for children 5 April saw the official opening of the European information Point. Its implementation was made possible thanks to the victory in the "it's about Europe: read, listen, learn in the European information Points in libraries" from the NGO "Ukrainian library Association" and the European Union program "Erasmus+" (Jean Monnet). Happy occasion, gathered in the library of many distinguished guests: Deputy mayor of Alexey Golubkov, chief specialist of Department of culture and tourism of regional administration of Igor Filippov, Director Barsky district library Love Kirilyuk, Director Barsky district historical Museum Natalia Koval, President of co "Foundation of the community bar district "Bari" Novel Mocenigo, as well as librarians from the villages of the district and local schools. The participants of the opening were offered a short program that included an excursion into the history of the European Union (presented by Bogdan leading event Buckovski and Lyudmila Pojluk from school-gymnasium # 2), execution poems (Vladislav Osipov, Eva and Alexander Kucheruk Miller – pupils of school-gymnasium ¹2) and songs about Ukraine (Yaroslav and Bohdan Endemic, Palevsky Alina and Svetlana lototskaya – all from school No. 4, teacher Valery Luoyang), as well as the EU anthem played violin trio students of the music school (teacher of Jan Pupil). Parallel to the presentation of the tasks, services and opportunities that the library users will be able to realize when the Point of European information. Among these, in particular, access to numerous information resources, both print and electronic, in terms of culture, Economics and values of European countries. For convenient operation with a virtual information library also received a PocketBook, which is already downloaded about 50 books about license of Europe and the European integration movement of Ukraine.
