Within the framework of the agreements reached in early March, representatives of Vinnitsa oblast during a visit of the Romanian partners, the delegation of Iasi County for three days to stay on the territory of Vinnytsia region, visiting the infrastructure facilities in the region and strengthening cooperation at the territorial level. Visit of the representatives of Romania began on 6 April with the official meetings with the leaders of the Vinnytsia region. As noted during the meeting, the Chairman of regional state administration Valery Cow, this year marks 10 years since the signing of the agreement on cooperation between Vinnytsia region and Iasi County. During this period, many changes occurred both in Ukraine and in Romania, and very important, said the head of regional state administration, the regions-partners move towards each other. Valery Cow briefed the representatives of the Iasi County with the state of socio-economic development of the region and the main processes taking place in the state. "From 1 January of the current year is fully operational Association Agreement with the EU. Ukraine on the implementation of the Agreement is conducting a comprehensive review of its normative framework, and major reform is decentralization," - said the Chairman of RSA. According to him, it is already possible to speak about the first positive outcomes of fiscal decentralization. For example, last year local budgets of the base level region, relative to 2014, grew by 45 %, and from the beginning of 2016 the growth continues in the range of 55 %. Now, said Valery Cow, there is a continuing transmission to the base level of administrative rights and powers. "With regard to economic development, the Vinnitsa region compared to other regions of Ukraine, despite all the problems, is a region that is extremely developing and the industrial sector, agribusiness, infrastructure development. We managed to attract in the region's powerful investment funds, and we have positive momentum for growth", - said the head of RSA. And yet, he noted, there are a lot of problems, so the attraction of investments, creation of legal jobs, drive business out of the shadows – the issues on the agenda. RSA Chairman also touched upon the positions of social development of Vinnytsia region, informing, in particular, about the successful experience of the implementation of public initiatives to address the problems of people with disabilities. Therefore, assured that the Romanian partners in the region will be interesting.
