for the purpose of implementing the provisions of the Memorandum of understanding between the State concern "Ukroboronprom" and Vinnytsia regional state administration about expanding cooperation with the enterprises in Vinnytsia region in the framework of the state defense order, April 5, took place the visit of the delegation of businessmen of Vinnitsa in the Zhitomir armored plant. The delegation, which included about two dozen leaders of machine-building enterprises of Vinnytsia region, headed by first Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Andriy Gyzhko. The Director of the plant Alexey Babich presented the work of the Zhytomyr plant and outlined the prospects of possible cooperation with vinnitskii manufacturers. He personally accompanied the delegation during the inspection of production. In addition, for Vinnytsia in sample box was prepared more than hundreds of product samples required for the work of the Zhytomyr armored plant. The head of the Vinnytsia delegation Andrew Gyzhko commented on his impressions: "We visited on a very powerful enterprise. Saved the team of specialists who are able to produce competitive products required for the army. So we saw a real interest Vinnytsia manufacturers in cooperation with Zhytomyr armored plant. During the inspection capacity, we have also seen that cooperation can be not only machine-building enterprises, and with woodworking, instrument making. So he arranged another visit to the Zhitomir factory, or will be established direct contacts". According to the official, in a month will be presented the actual steps to implement the provisions of the Memorandum with the State concern "Ukroboronprom". Last year, a partnership was established with the State enterprise "Zhytomyr armored plant" eight Vinnitsa enterprises, who provided their products for the sum of 6,5 million USD. Reference: SE "Zhytomyr armored plant" is included in the State concern "Ukroboronprom", which fulfills the order of the Ministry of defense of Ukraine and foreign customers. This enterprise is one of the largest in the industrial sector of Zhytomyr region. The company has a closed cycle repair 18 types of machines, among them BMP, BTR, BRDM, BMD and BTR-D in different versions. Zhytomyr armored plant is one of the leading Ukrainian enterprises, which carries out major repairs and deep modernization of tracked combat vehicles (infantry fighting vehicles and troops), carries out licensed production of advanced combat modules for BMP and plans to open a new area of business — major overhaul and Assembly production of wheeled combat vehicles (in particular armoured personnel carriers). In addition, the plant manufactures products economic purposes, including the generators, plows, and carries out major repairs of engines of agricultural machinery and the like. The company plans in 2016 to repair and modernize about 65 war machines, to complete production and to sell up to 10 individual combat modules. Net income from sales will amount to 213 million UAH.
