In the Transcarpathian region Rakhiv firefighters put out the fire on the territory of the Carpathian biosphere reserve
6 April at 17:44 in quickly-a rescue service of Transcarpathia was reported about the fire of the leaves and bushes on the territory of the Carpathian biosphere reserve near S. maps of kostylivka in Rakhiv district. At the scene immediately sent branch 3rd state fire and rescue unit composed of 1 pieces of equipment and 5 personnel. They were helped by 10 foresters of the Carpathian biosphere reserve and 20 local residents. To localize the fire was at 18:30 and completely eliminate – 20:00. Flame’I managed to destroy 2 ha of dry leaves and shrubs. But their efforts fighting the fire saved from the destruction of two houses and an outbuilding, in which direction the fire spread.
