Volyn: rescuers urge citizens not to provoke fires in ecosystems!
Since the beginning of week on territory of Ukraine recorded a significant increase in temperature. Given this, and the fact that people have started to clean their garden plot, to burn the remains of dry vegetation on the territory of the state, an increase in the number of fires in ecosystems. So, only for last days in Ukraine there were 367 fires, a significant proportion of which are recorded in natural ecosystems. In particular, April 5, in Poltava, in the village of Makhnivka, Globinsky district, in an open area there was a fire of dry grass on the area of 4 ha Units DSNs quickly eliminated the fire, and saved from destruction by fire the hay, and 5 tons of hay. The same day, helpless firemen liquidated a fire of dry grass near the village of Yablunivka Lokhvytsia district on an area of 1 ha and saved from destruction inactive farm building. Burning dry grass was recorded in Turka, Skolivsky, Sambir, Sambir, Yavoriv, Pustomyty districts of Lviv region. In General, firefighters eliminated 13 fires of dead wood in the region. 5 April on the territory of Ternopil region registered 6 fires of dry grass in natural ecosystems on a total area of over 6.5 hectares on the territory of Transcarpathian region — 4 fire on the area of 6,8 hectares in the territory of the Donetsk region — 11 fires on the area of about 6 hectares. Also fire of deadwood occurred in Romanov, and Ovruch, Radomyshl, Brusilovsky areas areas of Zhytomyr region. The area of the fire was 10 hectares. Each year fires in natural ecosystems cause significant damage to the state and, primarily, to the environment, can cause fires buildings, destroying power lines, gas and oil pipelines, forestry plantations. Most often fires in natural ecosystems arise from human negligence and carelessness. Especially an increasing number of such fires in the spring and summer. Therefore, the purpose of prevention of emergence of fires in natural ecosystems rescuers carry out preventive work with citizens. To participate in the event are invited also representatives of mass media to convey critical messages and warnings to the largest possible number of people. Experts of gschs are attracted to information-rose’awareness efforts and representatives "Ukrpochta" and "New mail". In particular, from now on the territory of Ivano-Frankivsk warning flyers with important information will get through postmen even in the most remote of the house. Rescuers hope that such measures will have positive results and will cause citizens to reflect on the problem of fires in the ecosystems, the number of which is steadily increasing. Dear citizens!
