LPU Residents set up an initiative group to address the issue of holding free classes on the basis of the sports club “Blue arrow” to the children had the opportunity to play sports in their neighborhood. Member of the city Council Nikolay Erucic addressed such a request to the mayor. The proposal was approved and supported by majority of MPs. To meet to discuss this issue was an initiative of the city Council. During the discussion the Deputy of the mayor Yury Molica again emphasized that one of the priorities in the work of the city Council is the implementation of sporting challenges, in particular the promotion of the sport and its popularity. The meeting was addressed by the President of Volyn Institute for Support and development of Public Initiatives Petr Lavrenyuk, who noted that the free sports clubs for all, it will be expedient to do so for certain categories of children. Councilwoman Natalia Bunda said that such matters should be addressed globally, at the level of the whole city and not one specific area. Yuri Molica added that the city should pay for those who cannot pay, the right to have free classes, primarily to benefit children from low-income families. To ensure that the project was effective, there should be a list of specific children who are interested and want to do it. Member of initiative group Natalia Gurkina, who spoke at the roundtable, stressed that osnovnuyu the purpose of the initiative group is that children need to be busy after school and during vacations, that is why they took this case. Natalia said she was ready to accept any suggestions. In turn, those present at the round table coaches who are currently engaged in the club “Blue arrow”, offered on a voluntary basis to work with children. In the end of the discussion, the Deputy of the mayor Yury Molica gave a proposal: until the end of April to make an inventory and optimization of all sites where you can go in for physical culture and sports, as well as to create a database of children, to outline a clear target group.
