Overcoming the competitive selection at the local level, the young rescuers from all the districts of the Zhytomyr region began to compete for the right to be called the best in the region by a team of young firefighters. April 6 at the Palace of culture Korosten launched the first of four qualifying stages of the all-Ukrainian festival DUP. It was attended by 7 teams-the winner of the schools Ovruch, Olevsk, Korosten, Malyn, Luginsky and Volodarsk-Volyn districts. Festival of young firefighters – this is the final form of advocacy students, which they spend among peers and the population as young assistants gschs of Ukraine and Voluntary fire society. During the Festival, the participating teams had to demonstrate the experience in the form of a literary-musical composition on the theme «About the safety of pam’yatai, appreciate life – in trouble don't get". The fantasies of children had no borders: a safe country and traveled the cartoon characters «Fxk" performed by young Malinen, tales and heroes "Turnip", interpreted by the Luhansk team. However each of them overcome their obstacles. The kids played almost all emergencies that you may encounter during the summer holidays. This is a safety hazard on the water, in the woods, when using matches and gas, during a thunderstorm, and if it finds explosive finds. Especially impressed the jury with acrobatic elements performed by the students from Korosten and a kind of interpretation of the heroic profession of a rescuer, as a perfect master of all trades. Also thanks korosteny participants learned how to handle flammable substances and had studied fire safety signs. Victory this day was celebrated by students of secondary schools No. 2 in the towns of Korosten (And place), Olevsk (II place) and the village of Luginy (III place). Members of the jury – experts from regional departments of education and science, state emergency service and voluntary fire society – especially noted high level of preparation of teams, vocal and acting skills. According to the head of the rescue service region Igor Nikitchuk "in modern times the festival of young firefighters confirmed that the issue of security gradually included in everyday activities, as a vital necessity. The children of the spirit competition went to incredible mutual support and feelings for others. This is especially important in extreme situations.
