The youth of Zhytomyr region has presented its own research and technology development
on 8 April, in the Zhitomir military Institute named after S. P. Korolev hosted the IV?the Congress of creative young people of Zhytomyr region under the slogan "High technologies – the future of Ukraine!". The purpose of the Congress – the military-Patriotic education of youth of Zhytomyr region, explained the importance of fulfilling their constitutional duty to prepare to defend the homeland, promote scientific and scientific-technical activities. About 300 participants from universities, secondary schools and lyceums, vocational schools, scientific and technical organizations for youth in the city of Zhytomyr and Zhytomyr region took part in the Congress. Traditionally, the Congress was opened by the head of the Zhytomyr military Institute named after S. P. Korolev, major-General Yuri Danik. He shared with all the participants experience in the use of scientific research of the military Institute in the course of the antiterrorist operation in the Eastern regions of Ukraine. The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of Zhytomyr regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta, senior researcher of the Institute of modernization of content of education of Ministry of education and science of Ukraine Elena Dashkovska and head of the Department of family, youth and sports of the Zhytomyr regional state administration Svetlana GRES. Yaroslav Laguta noted an extremely high level players achievements and wished them more skill and inspiration in designing future projects. During the event presented an exhibition of scientific and technical development of participants. There were presented more than 60 technical projects.
