In the field sowing campaign continues. As 05.04.2016 year in all categories of farms of the region sowing of early grain and leguminous crops carried out on an area of 47.1 thousand hectares (75% of the forecast), including 8.6 thousand planted hectares of wheat (67%), 18,6 thousand ha of barley (71%), 18,6 hectares of oat (82%) and 1.3 thousand hectares of peas (100%). Corn for grain is planted on an area of 100 hectares, which is 0.1% of the forecast. Sugar beet on the area of 4,7 thousand hectares (38% of the forecast), sunflower – 0,9 thousand hectares (2%). By results of monitoring as 05.03.2016 year's winter grain crops are in good condition on the area to 73.3 thousand ha (53% of obtained shoots), in satisfactory – 54.2 thousand ha (39%) and 11.0 thousand ha (8%) in weak and liquefied state.
