Chernihiv: the League of business and professional women celebrated its 15th anniversary
Deputy of the mayor Alexander Kirichenko April 5 participated in a solemn celebration of the 15th anniversary of Chernigov city League (Club) of business and professional women. Welcoming smart, talented, beautiful women, Alexander Kirichenko, expressed sincere gratitude for a significant contribution to the implementation of charitable and socially oriented projects: protection of large families, work with needy families and children with disabilities. The Deputy mayor wished the women creative success, happiness and harmony in everyday life. Women were also congratulated by League President Iryna Dorozhkina, Chairman of the Union of women of Ukraine leocadia Gerasimenko and the head of the Youth branch of the League, member of the management Board Yulia Zaika and others. The attention of all those present in the lobby of the Training center of trade unions organized an exhibition of creative works of the representatives of the Association of craftswomen. During the event the most successful and active business ladies were awarded with the gratitude of the mayor of Chernihiv, diplomas of the Union of women of Ukraine, Chernihiv regional chamber of Commerce and the like. Chernigov city League (Club) of business and professional women was founded in 2000 on the initiative of the regional organization of the Union of women of Ukraine on the basis of the Center of support for women's business, which appeared in Chernigov thanks to the project "Woners" with the financial support of USAID. By this time the League is the only women's business Association. The League unites 136 active, enterprising women, heads of agencies and organizations, professionals, entrepreneurs, public datelines and women. Every year the League holds the traditional activities: the contest "woman of the year", the fair "What can a woman do", a reception in the members of the League, and the last three years organizes a Forum of business and talented women. In addition, conducted training, presentations, business women, promotion of goods and services of its members. This organization actively cooperates with local authorities, creates an attractive image of a woman entrepreneur and social activist, takes part in charity activities.
