In Ternopil region will honor the memory''yat of victims of the Nazi camps
for the purpose of paying tribute to the citizens who during the years of world war II suffered from Nazi persecution, and perpetuate the memory of the fallen in the Ternopil region held a series of events. Recall, commemoration of the International day of liberation of Nazi concentration camps is celebrated annually on April 11. Thus, the planned thematic lessons, awareness-raising hours in cultural institutions and educational institutions of the region with participation of veterans of war, national liberation movements, scholars and public figures dedicated to the tragic events and the fates of people who were forcibly removed from the territory of occupied Ukraine for forced labor during the Second world war. In addition, the region will be held landscaping of the memorials, monuments, mass graves, graves of victims of Nazi persecution. In museums, libraries, educational institutions, state archives of the region will be equipped with thematic exhibitions of photographs and literature, dedicated to the victims of Nazi concentration camps. In local media the planned broadcast of the relevant television and radio broadcasts, to illuminate the feat of anti-fascist resistance fighters, the tragedy of prisoners of fascist concentration camps, ghettos and other places of detention, and crimes against the civilian population during the Nazi occupation of the region. Religious organization will hold in the churches memorial services for the victims of Nazi persecution.
