In Vinnytsia continues the complex of spring field work
On the sidelines of Vinnytsia region continues the complex of spring field works. Completed the sowing of early grain and leguminous crops. With the projected area of sowing of early grain and leguminous crops 99,6 thousand hectares, sown – 96,5 thousand hectares (96,9 % of the forecast). Almost all districts have started sowing maize for grain. With a projected USD 309.8 thousand square hectares of it planted 42.8 thousand ha or 13.8 per cent. Sowing of sugar beet is in its final stage, with the projected area of 50,0 thousand ha sown – 49,2 thousand hectares (98,3 %). Sunflower seeds with projected area 185,8 thousand hectares, sown – of 124.5 ha (67,0 %). 4th districts started planting soybeans, with a projected area 203,7 hectares sown to 1.2 thousand hectares (0.6 per cent). As 11.04.2016 year in all categories of farms of the region winter crops for grain have been top-dressed on the area 257,7 thousand hectares (58.7 per cent), including winter wheat – 227,6 thousand hectares (59.1 per cent), winter barley – 29,5 thousand hectares (57,6 %), winter rye – 586 ha (21,6 %). Winter rapeseed are fed up of 16.9 thousand hectares (31.7 per cent), perennial grasses - 5,9 thousand hectares (7.1 percent).
