In the Zhytomyr region rescuers carry out activities to ensure the safe celebration of Easter
Approaching one of the biggest religious holidays-Easter. It is a celebration of the stand’connected with the accumulation of a large number of people in churches and massive use of open flames, including candles in religious institutions. In order to prevent emergencies during worship on Easter, rescuers carry out the roses’explanatory work. From the beginning of April the Krasnoarmeyskiy district employees sector Management DSNS of Zhytomyr region carry out inspections of fire safety condition of the religious buildings in the area. During these checks, experts of gschs pay special attention to the implementation of safety measures in the use of open flames, candles, the presence in buildings of fire extinguishers, fire safety signs, the condition of the contents of power engineering and heating devices, escape routes parishioners, fire water and alarm systems. All 15 churches of the area, which have been tested, are equipped with fire extinguishers, but there are also disadvantages that need to be addressed before the Passover: in the same Church was not carried out the fireproofing of trees’wooden structures, large religious buildings not equipped with fire alarms and other. Also the rectors of the churches was rose’explained the procedure in case of fire and received the relevant pam’tents, in which are reflected all the major issues of fire safety in the temples. Mchsniki hope that the work will not be in vain – the clergy and Church community are aware of the responsibility that falls to them regarding observance of fire safety rules.
