In Uzhgorod, scientists and family practitioners were discussed problematic issues of the industry
for the second day in Uzhgorod international scientific-practical conference dedicated to the prevention and treatment of socially significant diseases in the primary health-care services. The scientific forum is held on the initiative of the faculty of postgraduate education and pre-University training of Shee "Uzhgorod national University", Institute of family medicine with support from the Ministry of health of Ukraine, who country Office in Ukraine, SE "Ukrainian center of control over socially dangerous diseases of MOH Ukraine", Association of family doctors of the Transcarpathian region, Institute of family medicine of uzhnu, Department of health Transcarpathian regional state administration. In the conference took part more than 300 participants from different countries: Ukraine, Slovakia, Germany, Poland, Holland and the UK. Opening the conference the participants were welcomed by the Chairman of the conference organizing Committee, Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of family physicians, the Dean of FPO Uzhnu Ivan Chopey, Deputy Chairman of the Transcarpathian regional state administration Oleksandr Petik, first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council On Joseph, the Director of the Department of health Zakarpatska regional state administration Vladimir Markovic, the mayor of Uzhgorod Bogdan Andreev, rector of Uzhnu Volodymyr Smolanka and others. Among the guests of honor of the scientific meeting - honorary doctor of Uzhnu, Dr Jo Buchanan, President of the Association of family doctors of Europe EURACT, Director of si "Ukrainian center of control over socially dangerous diseases of MOH of Ukraine" Nzowa N. M. The President of the Association of family doctors of Ukraine, chief extraordinary specialist at MHC of Ukraine in specialty "General practice-family medicine" MD.N. Matucha L. F. The scientists and family practitioners from Ukraine and abroad share their views and jointly discussed the problematic issues of the healthcare industry, in particular the introduction of compulsory (voluntary) health insurance and modern information technologies, development of educational programs for health workers primary health care for the management of patients with cardiovascular pathology, prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases. We spoke about the work of the family physician as the business owner and podotremata, about prevention programmes in practice of family doctor, the place and role of health workers in the PHC system, safeguarding the public health in Ukraine, the relevance of the inclusion within educational curricula of health workers in psychological support and correction, integration services for socially vulnerable groups of the population at the primary level of medical care, out-patient model of medical care for tuberculosis and HIV infection, and the like. During the conference communicating online with scientists and practitioners from abroad, discussed the European model of family medicine, the possibilities and conditions of their implementation in Ukraine, - reported in the Department of health of Transcarpathian regional state administration.
