From the beginning of spring, the rescuers UDSNS Chernihiv region have repeatedly eliminated fires in ecosystems. Each year fires in natural ecosystems cause significant damage to the state and, primarily, to the environment, can cause a fire buildings, destroying power lines, tree plantation. Most often fires in natural ecosystems arise from human negligence and carelessness. Especially an increasing number of such fires in the spring and summer. According to statistics from the beginning of 2016 on the territory of Chernihiv region has been 45 fires in the residential sector as a result of burning of dry vegetation and garbage in the open countryside – 150 cases, resulting in scorched 579,38 ha. Unauthorized burning of vegetation or its residue, in accordance with part 1 of article 77-1 code of Ukraine on administrative offences, is punishable by a fine on citizens from ten to twenty non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (from 170 to 340 UAH) and on officials – from fifty to seventy non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens (from 850 to 1190 UAH). Prohibited burning all types of waste on adjoining areas and in the bins, on-site green space. Unauthorized burning of dry vegetation or its remnants burning of stubble, meadows, pastures, areas of wetland and other natural vegetation or its residue in the right of way of highways and Railways, as well as fallen leaves in parks and other green plantings and lawns in the settlements without the permission of bodies of state control in the field of environmental protection or in violation of the conditions of such permit entails administrative liability of the above. In the case of a significant spread of the fire immediately report the fire by calling 101.
