First Deputy Minister of youth and sports of Ukraine, the President of the athletics Federation of Ukraine Ihor Hotsul and the head of Department of physical culture and sports of regional state administration Victor Muzikor took part in the presentation of the book by Alexander Stepaniuk "athletics of the region: historical aspect", which took place in the Ternopil oblast universal scientific library. According to the author, the book presents a brief history of the formation and development of athletics in the Ternopol area, biographical data of the leading athletes and coaches. "Working directory "athletics of the region: historical aspect", I discovered many historical events related to the development of mass sports in the region and athletics including, - said Alexander Stepaniuk. – So here I am sharing an anniversary, celebratory dates of these separate historical events, witnesses and active participants of which there were many citizens”.
