Physicians of Ternopil became acquainted with the work of the health care system of Slovakia
representatives of the Department of health’I and medical support of Ternopil city Council - head of the Department Rostyslav Levchuk and Deputy head Olga Yarmolenko took part in the international scientific-practical conference on “preventive and therapeutic effects on socially significant diseases in the primary health care" in Uzhgorod. During the conference physicians from all over Ukraine discussed the issues of development of family medicine and improving the work of primary medical care, introduction of mandatory’mandatory health insurance and modern information technology, the work of a family doctor as a private businessman, prevention programs, etc. The program also was to provide familiarity with health care reform’I Slovakia on the example of Old Ljubljana. In this city the experts visited the city hospital and clinic of General practice-family medicine, where the administration of institutions spoke about modern information technologies in Slovakia in the field of medicine and presented the work of the family physician in the outpatient treatment of medical care.
