The incidence of SARS in the Chernivtsi below the epidemiological boundary by 40 per cent

Chernivtsi city Department of the Main Directorate gossanepidsluzhby in Chernivtsi region continues to report the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections, including influenza among the population of the city. The proportion of the child population up to 18 years of age is 63.9 per cent (children aged 0-4 years – 39,7%, 5-14 years is 50.9%, 15-17 years – 9.4 per cent), in addition the adult population in the 18-29 age group to 12.0%, 30-64 years of 20.4%, 65 and above is 3.7%). 1774 hospitalized patients, of whom 927 (52,3%) children up to 18 years. Among hospitalized 860(48,5%) patients with severe acute respiratory infections (pneumonia), including children under 18 – 272 (31.6 per cent). The highest incidence was registered among children in the age group of 5 to 14 years of 50.9%, and among adults in the age group 30-64 years is 20.4%. In the epidemic season 2015-2016 influenza pain 88 people, children aged up to 17 years – 24, which is 27.3%. 15 week 2016 (08.04. on 14.04.2016 years) the incidence of acute respiratory viral diseases, including influenza on a city below epidporoga on -40,4%. In comparison with the previous week incidence increased by +13.3 per cent. Only in m. Chernivtsi 1510 registered cases of acute respiratory viral infections, of which 1089 – among children under 18 years of age (72.1%). Cases registered among 32 patients with severe acute respiratory infections (pneumonia). 59 hospitalized patients, including children under 18 years of age – 36, representing 61.0% of hospitalized. In laboratory virological research is continued circulation of parainfluenza virus, adenovirus and influenza A virus(H1N1). Since the beginning of the epidemic season in the city registered 9 lethal cases from flu complications (viral pneumonia) that is laboratory confirmed.
