In the Ternopil region increased sunflower production
In the region increased production of sunflower 77,4% soybeans 6.7%, plodoyagodnoy products by 7.6% to last year. Trends in growth of these crops are scheduled this year. This was announced by Director of Department of agroindustrial development of regional state administration Vitaly Lui. According to main Directorate of statistics in all categories of farms gross grain output amounted to almost 2.2 million tons, which is 16.9% less by 2014 at an average yield of 49.7 quintals per hectare. (the average yield in Ukraine 41,1 kg/ha). "Among the regions of Ukraine, the region ranked seventh in yield of grain and leguminous crops, including wheat – the 3rd place. 100 ha arable land made 265,3 CNT. grain, and this is the 5th in the state, - stated Vitaly Lui. - In agriculture the yield is – 55,0 kg/ha, the highest yield of grain and leguminous crops of the Kremenets district - 71,1 kg/ha, Branch - 62.9 t/ha, Zboriv - and 62.6 t/ha. the yield of grain crops in farms of Borshchiv and Podgaetskii district accounted for only 40.7 per - 46,6 t/ha".
