In the Volyn region Prosecutor's office protects the rights of children
Manevichy the local Prosecutor's office defended the property rights of children whose parents were deprived of parental rights. So, the Basic decision of the district court local resident and her husband were deprived of parental rights in respect of their 15-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son. In this case, in violation of the Law of Ukraine "child protection", which provides that the court in the case of deprivation of parental rights at the same time imposes a ban on the disposal of property and housing children, the court ruled that the issue of banning alienate parents on the right of private property of the home where the children lived, not solved. To prevent violations of children's rights to housing, the head of the Manevychi local Prosecutor's office went to court with a lawsuit to prohibit the alienation of the property until the children reach adulthood.
