The Vinnytsia region: in the regional art Museum began its work exhibition "Treasury of the Lavra workshops" (+photo)
In the Vinnytsia regional art Museum on April 19, took place the opening of the exhibition "the Treasury of the Lavra studios", which represents the creative achievements of young Kyiv artists: Oksana Vozianova, Michael Gayevy, Natalia Gedosico, Alena Dumbadze, Artem Copilareasca, Vera Lozovskaya, Vyacheslav Belovskogo. They are students and followers of the outstanding painter, graphic, member of the National Academy of arts of Ukraine, people's artist of Ukraine, member of National Union of artists of Ukraine, laureate of State prize of Ukraine. Taras Shevchenko Nikolay Andreevich Storozhenko and submit their substantial editorial material, which is based on the revival and preservation of traditions of icon painting. The exhibition includes more than 30 icons of classical canonical Scriptures, in the style of Ukrainian Baroque, as well as works on sacred subjects.
