In the Transcarpathian region, students of uzhnu learned from the rescuers to the rules of safe living
20 April to rescue detachment of special purpose called for students of Uzhgorod national University. Three dozen sophomores from the Department of urban construction and management engineering faculty participated in a Day of civil protection, which aimed to deepen the knowledge of youth on the basics of life safety. First, students listened to a theoretical lecture from the teachers point of rescue squad. From the experts, attendees learned about the definition of the term "fire" and the main reasons of its occurrence, the statistics of fires in Ukraine and Transcarpathia in particular, and also about assets for fire fighting at the initial stage. In addition, using a special mannequin of students trained to provide emergency care of the unconscious person with no signs of breathing. The practical part of the event took place on the yard’th rescue units. The youth learned how to use powder fire extinguishers, specifically eliminating divorced fire. Further on the participants of the Day of civil defense was waiting for the demonstration of machinery and equipment rescue. In particular, the students were made by the representatives of the emergency Department, groups of radiation and chemical protection and the group of pyrotechnic works. Thus sophomores Uzhnu to learn more about the means of protection of respiratory organs, able to distinguish between explosive items and much more.
