April 26, on the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the tragedy at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Vinnytsia region near the monument to victims of the Chernobyl disaster took place the meeting-Requiem. The event was attended by Chairman of regional state administration Valeriy Cow, mayor Sergei Morgunov, first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Lyudmila shcherbakovskaya, heads of structural divisions of regional state administration, representatives of public organization "Ukrainian Union of Chernobyl veterans", youth and students, clergy and residents of the city. Those present at the ceremony honored the memory of liquidators and victims of the tragedy with a moment of silence, a weapon of honor sounded a military salute, students of the educational institutions read commemorative poems and released into the sky yellow and blue balls as a sign of memory and gratitude. Also, citizens and guests of the city, on foot on the streets of the Cathedral went to the European square, where he laid flowers to the Memorial of Glory and the monument of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.
