April 27, Chairman of the Zhytomyr regional state administration Serhiy Mashkovsky had an official meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan in Ukraine Mr. Nurberdi Amanmuradov. The meeting was attended by first Deputy Chairman of regional Council Vladimir Shirma, Director of the Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the regional state administration Alexey Shatilo, V. a. rector of Zhytomyr state technological University Victor Evdokimov and head of the Department of computer engineering, JGTU, doctor of technical Sciences, Professor ATA Ovezgeldyev. The parties discussed the experience of inter-University cooperation and outlined the prospects for future cooperation. In particular, Viktor Evdokimov said that the University seeks to expand cooperation for the exchange of students and professors of technological disciplines. For his part, the Ambassador assured his full support and readiness to be a mediator between GGTU and Turkmen colleagues. — "Training of highly qualified specialists is the main task of higher educational establishments which largely depends on the system of education, therefore education should be given due place of exchange of experience between countries. Proper education forms the national elite of the country", – said Sergey Mashkovsky. During the meeting they discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation between the Zhytomyr oblast and Turkmenistan.
