Zhytomyr: who from inhabitants of area can receive housing from the state?
Who, where and how many builds in Zhitomir? Who can afford such luxuries as a private square meters? How in this matter to young families and preferential categories of the population helps the state? These and other questions were actively discussed on 25 April in the program "Open Studio" TV channel W1. The guests of the program were: Irina Priymak – the chief specialist of Department of regional programs and housing policy of Department of urban planning, architecture, construction and housing and communal services of Zhytomyr regional state administration; Pavel Shestopalov, Director of the Zhytomyr regional Department "State Fund for youth housing assistance"; Gurtovenko novel – and a human rights activist Sergey Yatsyk – presenter of channel W1. Pavel Shestopalov said: "About 33 thousand area families registered in waiting list for receiving apartments. With regard to the primary housing market, then now we construct a small number of houses in Zhitomir and region. The price per square meter of apartments in Zhytomyr depends on the construction characteristics of a house – from 12-13 thousand USD on the first floor to 16-18 thousand UAH at the highest floor." In the Zhytomyr regional Department of the "State Fund for youth housing assistance" is a program for potential homeowners: * The state program "Affordable housing 70/30; * Preferential loans to ensure housing for young people; * Long-term concessional lending to youth at the expense of own funds of the Fund; * The program reduce the cost of mortgages. "In 2015 and 2016, priority in housing have preferential categories of the population – the families of the fallen ATO participants and invalids I and II groups which took part in the ATO. For such families 44 – 28 16 the families of the victims and families of persons with disabilities, disabled groups I and II. Last year the Department of urban planning, architecture, construction and housing and communal services of Zhytomyr regional state administration, as administrator of the funds purchased 77 apartments and 1 residential home with public funds – provided with housing almost all families who were registered in 2014-2015" – draws the viewers ' attention Irina Priymak.
