Volyn region Prosecutor's office defended in the court of appeal the sentence 34-to the summer inhabitant of the village of Sudche Lyubeshovsky district, which is near Kivertsi hit and killed a teenage cyclist. 07 Nov 2015 about 11 hours and 30 minutes while in a condition of strong alcoholic SP’intoxication (alcohol content in his blood was 3.2 ppm) while driving «Mercedes-benz”, the man broke the rules of road safety and on the road in under’drive to the town of Kivertsi made arrival on the cyclist who moved in the counter direction. As a result dorozhno-transport incident 16-year-old boy was killed. Sentence of Kivertsy district court, the driver was found guilty of violating the rules of traffic safety by a person driving the vehicle, entailed death of the victim (criminal offense under part 2 of article 286 of the Criminal code of Ukraine) and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment with deprivation of the right of management by vehicles for a period of 3 years. Disagreeing with sentencing, the man decided to appeal the verdict. However, the court of appeal of Volyn region, listening to the arguments of the prosecutors, left the court of first instance in force.
