City Council comes from the founders of the municipal enterprise “Newspaper “Lutsk castle”
On session of city Council made the decision to withdraw the city Council from the founders of the Editorial Board of the municipal enterprise “Newspaper “Lutsk castle” and print media “Newspaper “Lutsk castle”. The head of Department of management of property of city municipal property Alla Grabko explained that according to the Law of Ukraine "On reforming state and communal printed mass media" the need to reform the print media and the editorial Board of the municipal enterprise "Newspaper "Lutsk castle" by withdrawal of Lutsk city Council of the founders. The decision on reforming the print media and the editorial Board is taken by the founders with the participation of the workforce. The labor collective has the right of priority in determining the way of reform. To the requirement of the above Act the labor collective of the municipal enterprise "Newspaper "Lutsk castle" on March 4, 2016 adopted decisions concerning the participation of the labor collective of the editorial Board in reforming the print media and editors, and also identified the way to reform by the city Council from the founders with the convert of the editorial Board members of its workforce in the entity retaining the name, purpose, language, editions and thematic focus of the print media. The speaker noted that according to the Law of Ukraine, the city Council is required to maintain the publication for the next three years. The Deputy of city Council Gregory Pustovit expressed gratitude to the staff of the newspaper “Lutsk castle” for the balanced, the position of the state in their publications. The newspaper clearly fulfil their obligations imposed by the city Council, regarding the publication of all normative documents that are needed to bring to the attention of the community. City mayor Mykola Romaniuk thanked chief editor of the newspaper Victor Trofimchuka and team editions for their cooperation and expressed hope that it will continue, after the newspaper will continue to work, changing only format of ownership.
