Differences Chernihiv city Council awarded to the heroes-liquidators of the Chernobyl disaster
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster on April 26 in Chernihiv held events commemorating the heroes of Chernobyl. In the Chernigov regional state administration, the leadership of the region and the city met with Chernobyl. As noted by the speakers, the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant resulted in significant casualties, became a huge technological and environmental disaster. In Chernihiv in the area of radiation exposure has got more than 650 thousand inhabitants, 244 settlements are recognized as radiation contaminated. almost 80 thousand inhabitants of the region have the status of affected by the Chernobyl disaster, of which 5 thousand are recognized as disabled. Only in Chernigov died 461 participants of liquidation of the accident. During the meeting, the liquidators of the accident received awards of regional state administration, regional Council and Chernihiv city Council. By order of the mayor of Chernihiv, for active participation in public life of the city of Chernigov, and on the occasion of the Chernobyl tragedy the Honorary diploma of the Chernihiv city Council and the Executive Committee awarded: - Anishchenko Alexander, Chairman of the Chernigov city public organization "Union of invalids of Chernobyl"; - Asmykovich Nikolay Vasilyevich, a member of the Chernigov city public organization "Union of invalids of Chernobyl"; - Lutsenko Peter V., participant of liquidation of consequences of Chernobyl accident; Romanenko Viktor Feodosievich, Deputy Chairman of the Chernihiv regional branch of the Ukrainian national Fund for the disabled of Chernobyl; - Surinovich Lyubov Stepanovna, a member of the Chernigov city public organization "Union of invalids of Chernobyl"; - Vintage Nikolay Aleksandrovich, a member of the Chernigov city public organization "Union of invalids of Chernobyl".
