Chernivtsi: awarded to the best enterprises of housing and communal services on the organization of work on labor protection and safety
On the occasion of the world Day of labor protection was held the rewarding of winners of city competition "the Best enterprise of housing and communal services on the organization of work on labour protection and safety". The contest was initiated by the city tripartite socially-economic Council, organized and prepared by the Department of labour and social protection of population of the city Council with the purpose of increasing attention of managers and trade Union committees of enterprises to the issues of improving the health, safety, mobilization teams to strengthen work on prevention of accidents in production, reduction in the incidence of working, ensuring the implementation of collective measures on labour protection at the enterprises of housing and communal services of the city. The city review-competition "the Best enterprise of housing and communal services on the organization of work on labour protection and safety" was conducted in accordance with the order of Chernivtsi mayor, together with the Chernivtsi regional organization of trade Union of workers of housing and communal services, local industry, consumer services of the population from 14 March to 28 April 2016. Competitive Commission on carrying out of city competition, which included specialists of the Department of housing and communal services and the Department of labour and social protection of population of the city Council, Chairman of the regional organization of trade Union of workers of housing and communal services, local industry, consumer services of the population Nikolay Popadyuk, the Chairpersons of primary trade unions, the main insurance expert on labor protection, head of the Department of prevention of occupational injuries to the social insurance Fund against accidents at work and occupational diseases., Chernivtsi Sergey Didyk, the Chairman of the constant Commission of city Council concerning housing and communal services and environmental protection Taras Babuh, evaluated the work of 25 companies according to certain criteria and performance indicators for labor protection and safety. The competition was held among the enterprises in the following categories: – utilities and landscaping; - housing regardless of ownership. Summing up of the contest, Deputy Chairman of the competition Committee, M.Popadiuk told the audience about the results of her work, noting that an appropriate level of training of the majority of heads of municipal enterprises and engineers on labor protection in event, drew attention to the need to improve sanitary and living conditions of employees. In his speech, the Deputy Director of Department, head of the Department of labor I. GRES said that the competition stimulated the enterprises to intensify the work on labor protection and safety and expressed the hope to conduct in the future. For the promotion winners of the contest with three prizes in each category, two incentive awards and cash rewards to persons responsible for occupational safety.
