In the Vinnytsia region held a regional competition of rescuers in fire-applied sports
29 April at the sports complex of SSES, took the championship of Vinnytsia region indoors fire-applied sports, dedicated to the Heroes who perished during the liquidation of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Such competitions are a kind of summary of training firemen-rescuers in the previous year. This year, the 30th anniversary of the Chernobyl tragedy, the competition consisted of two stages. The first test for the athletes was the rise of a hook ladder into the window of the 4th floor of the training tower. All the participants in this type of competition was given two attempts to achieve the best result. After the first stage on the athletes waited for the overcoming 100-meter strip with obstacles. Participants overcame a six-foot fence, with two hoses running through the boom, further connected the hoses between themselves and with branching and then finished. Following the results of competitions the third place has occupied the command abnormally-saving group of a special purpose of GU gschs, the second – 10 state fire and rescue part of Gysin, and the champion of the competition was the team of the 2nd State fire and rescue part of the city Vinnitsa.
