In Zhytomyr region improved prosthetics and providing means of rehabilitation of ATO participants
the Government has improved the Procedure of prosthetics and/or orthotics products of increased functionality on the latest technologies and manufacturing techniques which are absent in Ukraine, separate categories of the citizens who participated in the ATO and/or ensuring its carrying out and have lost functionality of extremity or extremities. The resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from 24.02.2016 No. 172 provides that: – broadening the circle of participants of anti-terrorist operation from among the employees of enterprises, institutions, organizations, other educated in accordance with the laws of Ukraine military formations that were involved and were directly involved in the ATO in the areas of its implementation; – implementation in Ukraine prosthetics (orthotics) products with enhanced functionality; – improvement of the mechanism of prosthetics and/or orthotics abroad the products of high functionality, if such do not exist in Ukraine. Also recall that the FREE state provides ATO members and other technical means of rehabilitation (hereinafter, tzr) domestic production according to the Procedure approved by resolution of CMU dated 05.04.2012 No. 321. The participants of the ATO free of charge (that is, budget funds are provided by domestic tzr regardless of disability is based on the decisions of military medical commissions. Principal tzr: – prosthetic and orthotic devices (orthoses system on the spine and on the upper and lower limbs, system dentures upper and lower limbs, orthopaedic shoes); – non-lethal weapons for self care (knee pads, elbow pads, gloves, anti-bedsore pillows, chairs, toilet chairs, toilet seat covers, bath and shower, stand for baths); – mobility AIDS (wheel chair room and traffic, chairs the knee with electric drive); – AIDS for personal mobility, moving and lifting (sticks, crutches, walkers); – furniture and equipment (tables, Seating furniture, beds, anti-bedsore mattresses, and railings, logs, supports, handrails). To obtain the party tzr ATO (his legal representative) must submit to the authority of social protection of the population registered at the place of residence of the participant ATO or actual place of residence according to the certificate on registration (for persons who moved from the temporarily occupied territory) the following documents: – passport (copy and original); – identification code (copy and original); – the decision military-the medical Commission or the conclusion of the medical Advisory Committee about the need in providing the necessary products; – extract from the order of the military unit commander (chief of territorial units)or certificate about the circumstances of the trauma (wounds, contusions, mutilations), issued by the military unit commander (chief of territorial division), with information about the participation in the antiterrorist operation (ATO members who are not disability). Workers of bodies of social protection of the population: – provide consultation to ensure tzr; – will familiarize you with the directories tzr and a list of prosthetic and orthopedic enterprises that perform individual applications for free manufacturer tzr; – give direction to the provision of the necessary tzr. Member of ATO (his legal representative) chooses protezno-ortopedicheskoe PREDPRIYATIE, which will be held on prosthetics (orthotics) or provided with the necessary tzr. For the selected applicant enterprise will examine the ATO with further support on the provision of prosthetic and orthopedic care.
