To region the diplomat arrived for participation in ceremony of transfer of the memorial complex "Brest fortress" of Vinnytsia series of paintings of the artist, reflecting heroic events, the defense of the fortress during the Second world war. The Ambassador met with leaders of the region and the city to discuss prospects for further relationship. During the official meeting, the Chairman of the regional state administration Valery Cow briefly reported on the current socio-economic situation in the region, focusing on the positive dynamics of its development. "If we analyze the overall statistics, Vinnitsa region is actively developing. By attracting investment in a number of projects, we have positive dynamics of development of the food industry. A powerfully growing and processing industry, given its export opportunities. Very positive dynamics and in the work of the agricultural business, - said Valery Cow. – Of course, there are problems, including the objective processes of urbanization and aging population. And this puts an additional perspective in the question of stimulating the development of rural territories and solving social problems that are there". In response, the Ambassador promised to render maximum assistance to establishment of closer contacts with any the winery, selected at the discretion of the residents, the city of Belarus. At the end of the meeting, the partners traditionally exchanged souvenir gifts and extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Ukraine Valentin Velichko presented the Chairman of the regional state administration Valery Koroviy award for personal contribution to the strengthening of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations.
