In Chernihiv signed a cooperation Agreement on national-Patriotic education of youth
on the Eve of Day of memory and reconciliation and the 71 anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the Second world war, 6 may, Chernihiv city Chairman Vladislav Atroshenko took part in the meeting with representatives of veterans ' organizations of the region and the city of Chernihiv, the Union of soldiers-internationalists, participants of the antiterrorist operation in the East of Ukraine. The meeting was held in the Chernihiv regional state administration with the participation of the Chairman of regional state administration Valeriy Kulich and first Deputy Chairman of the regional Council Valentin Melnychuk. Addressing the participants of the meeting, the mayor congratulated all veterans of war and labor, Afghans and participants of the ATO. He noted that they are all a generation of heroes and winners, which all Ukrainians will always be proud of. Every citizen will remember the exploits of the brethren, youth who did not flourish, and whose life ended on the battlefield. Also to the audience with a welcome speech by the Chairman of the Chernigov regional organization of veterans of Ukraine Anatoly Moskalenko, member of fighting the Second world war, Konstantin Kazimirov, Chairman of the Chernihiv regional Department of Ukrainian Union of prisoners-victims of Nazism Nina Clove, Deputy Chairman of the Chernihiv regional Department of Ukrainian Union of Afghan veterans Anatoly Kyrylyuk, the representative of the Ukrainian Institute of national memory in Chernihiv region Sergey Butko, head of Chernihiv city organization of veterans Irina Quarter and head of sector in Chernihiv region State service of Ukraine for veterans of war and participants of anti-terrorist operation, the President of the Council of the public organization "Shield 41" albert Ceresco. At the end of the meeting was signed the Agreement on cooperation regarding national-Patriotic education of youth between regional state administration, regional Council, Chernigiv city Council and the regional organization of veterans of Ukraine, the regional branch of the Ukrainian Union of veterans of Afghanistan (soldiers-internationalists), public organization "Shield 41". This document attested to the willingness of regional and local authorities, as well as veteran organizations to form the national conscious, public-spirited the younger generation who will be rooting for their country, willing to learn and work for its development as a sovereign country with European values. After the signing of this Agreement, the assembled veterans were congratulated by the pupils of Chernigov secondary school ¹ 29.
