In Ukraine the problem will be solved internships and first jobs for young people?
At the initiative of the Centre "CSR Development" and the support of the Ministry of youth and sports of Ukraine was held the Ukrainian signing of the Pact for youth-2020. This initiative was a continuation of the European initiative and seeks to facilitate creation of partnerships between business and educational sector and providing places for internships and first jobs youth. UKRAINIAN PACT FOR YOUTH-2020 Our vision Ukrainian companies are increasingly experiencing the need for young people with the right skills, despite the fact that Ukraine has considerable unused potential of human resources. According to the State statistics service of Ukraine, the unemployment rate among population aged 15-24 years reached 23.1% (2014). The rapidly growing number of young people who go abroad for study and work abroad. Ukraine is losing human capital. In addition, a large number of young people number of internally displaced persons also in need of employment. All these facts confirm that the business community and the education sector should together play an active role in addressing the education and employment of young people. It has a purpose and Ukrainian Pact for Youth. Our call for action and commitments We, the Ukrainian signatories of the Covenant for young people, encourage other companies, youth organizations, providers of educational and training services, employment services, to join and to develop/strengthen cooperation to quality education and youth employment. We are committed to 2020: 1. Contribute to the creation of a minimum of 100 partnerships between business and educational sector. To this end: * in collaboration with the Ministry of education and science of Ukraine, Ministry of youth and sport of Ukraine will develop a national plan of action for cooperation between business and educational sector; * to promote the exchange of best practices of cooperation between business and educational institutions to inspire others; * assess and report on the impact of our activities. 2. Provide 10,000 places for internships and the first job of young people. To this end: * offer more high-quality internships, jobs entry level for young people; * prognozation the need for knowledge and skills, including digital, entrepreneurial, financial literacy and the like. For the functioning of the Ukrainian Pact for youth and to perform its obligations will be created by the expert Council. The results of the Ukrainian Pact for Youth will be presented at the annual national forum "Business and universities", 1st European business-education summit in late 2017. Join the Covenant! We encourage businesses and providers of educational and training services to join Ukrainian of the Covenant for young people to gain its objectives and results.
