Chernihiv celebrated the 2nd anniversary of the 41st battalion of territorial defense. A solemn meeting was held on red square near the stele in memory of the fallen heroes of the ATO. To honor the heroism and courage of the Ukrainian servicemen during the anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine and to perpetuate the memory of our countrymen who gave their lives for independence and territorial integrity of the country, came the leaders of the city and region, the military, the family of fighters, the public of the city. During the rally, announced that the war in the East has claimed the lives of 144 of our fellow countrymen from Chernihiv region, among them 11 soldiers of the 41 infantry battalion. A minute of silence was held in memory of all who died in the line of duty in the zone of the antiterrorist operation, and laid flowers at the memorial stele.
