Volhynia: the Prosecutor's office sent to court indictment against five members of an organized criminal group which was engaged in extortion of money from citizens
the Prosecutor's office of area sent to court the indictment on charges n’five citizens of Volyn in the Commission of criminal offenses under part 2, part 4 of article 189, part 1 of article 263 UK of Ukraine during 2004-2011, acting in an organized group, using threats of violence over the injured party, the limitation of their rights, freedoms and legal interests, damage and destruction of their property, and in some cases – and the threat of murder and causing grievous bodily harm, required citizens funds. Criminal actions in the above criminal proceedings were carried out against citizens who are engaged in business or activity that contains elements of business and received income only caused material damage of about 30 thousand UAH.
