Zhytomyr regional state administration, with the assistance of the public organization "Union of consumers of Zhytomyr region" may 12, organized a regional seminar on "Business excellence – the basis for success and the competitiveness of enterprises and economy". The event was attended by the Deputy Chairman of regional state administration Yaroslav Laguta, heads of departments, district councils and the leading enterprises in Zhytomyr region. Yaroslav Laguta addressed the participants and noted that workshop will be considered in the context of cooperation of enterprises and public institutions, business and government within our region. Deputy Chairman of regional state administration urged those present to be as active as possible and to hold this meeting in a dialogue. Its purpose is to highlight actual problems in the sphere of business excellence and competitiveness and possible solutions to them, the modern world approaches to improve and enhance business culture of constituent entities of the business sector, the preservation and development of domestic business. Peter Kalita noted that in Ukraine often do not understand what is happening in Europe and the world as part of business excellence that directly affects the competitiveness of enterprises and organizations. As the result of decisions made at different management levels usually are not adequate to the real situations and not give the effect that is expected of them. He stressed that the authorities only put strap quality requirements for products (mandatory-level regulations and voluntary at the level of the standards). But to overcome these straps, and straps that are installed by the consumers themselves should enterprise through attaining an acceptable level of their business excellence.
