Vinnitsa farmers complete the sowing campaign of 2016
As of may 12, 2016, all categories of farms of spring cereals and legumes (corn) were sown 423,7 thousand ha (98.9% of the forecast). In particular: corn for grain projected area 309,8 thousand hectares, sown – 307 thousand hectares (99,1 %); buckwheat with the projected area of 9.6 thousand hectares sown to 8.1 thousand hectares (84,6 %); millet with the projected area of 773 hectares, sown – 791 hectares (102,3 %); of the Sorgue with the projected area of 2.7 thousand hectares, sown – 2,2 thousand hectares (81.5 %). sunflower seeds with projected area of 199 hectares, sown – of 216.5 hectares (108,8 %). soybean projected area 197,8 thousand hectares, sown – 141 thousand hectares (71.3 per cent).
