Lutsk joined the International cultural action "Night of museums-2016"

for the umpteenth time, the our city joins the International cultural action "Night of museums". The event was held at the Art Museum of the city of Lutsk. The main focus of this year's event – the creativity of Lesja Ukrainka. The event came to Lutsk city mayor Mykola Romaniuk and Deputy Andrew Kish, head of the culture Department of the city Council Tatyana Gnativ. The head of the Art Museum Zoe Nawrocki spoke about the premises of the event. According to her, this year "Night of museums" dedicated to the personality of the outstanding poetess Lesya Ukrainka. "We are gathered for the eighth time. It's a real holiday. Every year we have a new theme. Every year we want to bring people together, to reveal to them the unknown angle of art history, the history of Russian culture", - she said. Addressing the audience, mayor Mykola Romaniuk thanked all involved in the organization and conduct of the action "Night of museums". He stressed that this event has already become traditional. "I spent several years in a row attending the event "Night of museums". Each event was held with a new concept, with new approaches. All the time we learn something more. Thanks to the organizers of the event for the opportunity to conduct a spiritual and creative evening to step back from the events happening outside the Museum, outside of Lutsk castle. Leave them for a while and enjoy the art. I wish the project continued", - said Mykola Romaniuk. Continued event for the piano concert of works by Ludwig van Beethoven and Frederic Chopin. As noted by the head of the Art Museum Zoya navrotska, the works of these composers loved Lesya Ukrainka. This music was sung by honored worker of culture of Ukraine Irina Tsygankova. Own composition on a poem by Lesja Ukrainka "farewell to the piano" was performed by Daria Zubchuk, – student Irina Tsygankova. Guests of the event had the opportunity to talk with the honoured artist of Ukraine Lydia danilchuk and Director of TM "Theater in the basket", honored artist of Ukraine Irina Velickou and enjoy selected poems by Lesya Ukrainka, scenes from the play "the Possessed", "the Conversation" and the like.
