The festival has already become traditional for our city, and gathered on Theatre square very large number of people who came not only to observe the action, but also to participate. Embroidered towel is an important attribute of Ukrainian culture. Since ancient times, it is a Central component of folk customs and rituals. The festival was held on the initiative of the honored worker of arts of Ukraine Vitaly Ivanitsky, with the support of Lutsk city Council. Greeted the residents have turned to the Lutsk city mayor Mykola Romaniuk, who thanked all who came and joined the celebration. “It is very important that there are a lot of young people, because it shows that love and respect for the embroidery towel, embroidery passed down from generation to generation,” he said. The record was recorded by the representative of the national project of the Ukrainian book of records " Alexander SUSTEREN, who presented the diplomas to the Deputy of the mayor Andrey Kot and the author of the project Vitaly Ivanitsky.
