Chernihiv remembers the victims of political repression
"the Great terror" of 1937-1938 was a real symbol of mass inhuman repression against the population. Hundreds of thousands of adults were killed and prisoners, thousands of children are deprived of family warmth and parental love. Bloody "is millstones" of terror spared no one, large-scale executions have covered all regions and all segments of the population. For political accusations in this period, was arrested about two million people, almost a third of which were executed.
