Continues preparation of a draft Program of development of tourism in Vinnytsia region, 2016-2020 (photo)
Yesterday, may 18, in the regional Council, chaired by the head of the regional Council Anatoliy Oliynyk held a meeting on elaboration of proposals to the draft Program of development of tourism in Vinnytsia region for the period 2016-2020. A working meeting was held with the participation of heads of structural divisions of the regional state administration, representatives of educational institutions, travel agencies, public organizations, in which took part the Deputy Director – head of trade, services and development of consumer markets, Department of international cooperation and regional development of the RSA VEGA Kulawiec and Deputy head of Department – the chief of Department of pricing policy and development of consumer markets Vasily Golovchenko. The participants were divided in five working groups, which should perform the following tasks: create a database of tourist facilities in Vinnytsia region; to develop tourist routes; to solve the issue with the infrastructure facilities (entrances, roads, hostels, toilets, cafe); to create tourist information center and website for the promotion of the objects and to resolve the issue of resource provision. During the meeting the sides discussed the issues of the tourism industry and ways of further development. It should be noted that Vinnytsia oblast has all the prerequisites for intensive development of tourism in the region on the state account is 4307 cultural heritage: 1739 – archaeology, 1893 – story, 526 – planning and architecture, 101 – monumental art, 47 – landscape art, 1 landscape. Also, operates 35 the leading objects of rural green tourism, which offers rest in clean conditions for different segments of the population. The most popular among sightseers and tourists. is a fountain "Roshen"; national Museum – estate of N. And. Pirogov, which in 2015 was visited by nearly 145 thousand tourists, of which 1274 were foreign tourists from 71 countries; the State historical and cultural reserve "Busha" was visited by 30 thousand domestic and foreign tourists; Historical-memorial complex of memory of victims of fascism - 20 thousand tourists, of which 600 foreign; the branch of the Vinnytsia regional Museum in the former bet "Werewolf" (PGT. Stryzhavka, Vinnytsia region). There has been an increase of religious tourism with visits to such facilities as: monument-grandmother with seeds rock monastery (Sergei Lyadov Mogilev-Podolsk district); Josaphata valley (sharhorods'kyi district); cross road in the city of Shargorod and other.
