In the Zhytomyr region of the MIP, UKRINFORM has launched a new project about Crimea
on may 18, the Ukrainian national information Agency "UKRINFORM" with the assistance of the Ministry of information policy of Ukraine launched a new information project – category "Crimea". The aim of the project is to expand the scope of informing of the Ukrainian citizens and the world community about the situation in Crimea which is under Russian occupation. The project "UKRINFORM - Crimea" is designed to show what steps does the power for the return of Crimea to Ukraine, for its information reintegration. In addition, this information product is intended for those Ukrainian citizens, who now live in Crimea and are suffering from the repression of the occupiers. They need the support and solidarity of Ukraine. It is therefore very symbolic is the fact that "UKRINFORM – Krym" starts in such an important day – the Day of memory of victims of genocide of Crimean Tatar people. When the Crimean Tatars remember at the memorial rallies all who suffered from Stalin's deportation of 1944 year, we stand in solidarity with them, feel their pain and honor their dead. Given this, the initiators of the project seek to tell anisitsi audience about the numerous violations of the rights of the indigenous people of Crimea – Crimean Tatars, who has on the Peninsula is the occupier. It is therefore assumed that under the heading "UKRINFORM – Crimea" will be released not only information materials, but also interviews, comments of politicians, human rights activists, public figures, leaders of the national movement of the Crimean Tatars. We strive to "UKRINFORM – Crimea" has become a powerful information platform for public initiatives aimed at the return of the Crimea to Ukraine, and also to provide legal, media and communicative assistance to the Ukrainian citizens who remained in the territory of the occupied Peninsula.
