In the framework of solemn events dedicated to the days of Memmingen in Chernihiv on red square during the day on may 22 was held the concert of creative collectives of the German delegation. Attention residents and guests of the city military band 34-and the division of fighter-bombers "Alva" and a Peasant choir presented their classic repertoire on the main stage. According to the conductor of the military orchestra, j?rgen Wiedemann their team has been around for 25 years. And personally, he came to Chernigov for the third time and delighted with the beauty of our city and its hospitality. The concert was also made by a brass band Military music center land forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Its leader Alexander Shevchuk said that the music of bands between Memmingen and Chernigov has a long-standing friendship. So, 5 years ago they had a creative meeting, and the next will be held according to their prior agreement in 2018. Before that, the German delegation visited the Town of artists in the Alley of Heroes, where they bought different products of talented artisans Chernihiv, including Ukrainian embroidery. In the morning on this day, the leaders of the city and region, together with representatives of the official delegation of the city of Memmingen laid flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko on the occasion of the 155th anniversary of his reburial.
