During the meeting of the Board the Chairman of the regional state administration Stepan Barna instructed to establish a working group to study the effectiveness of the use of the subsoil area. Prior to July 1, members of the group should study the real condition of use of pits, ponds and farmland region. As informed the head of Department of land management and land protection of the Main Department of Derzeitiger in region Oleg Malin, the region has 469 quarries on the area of 2.1 thousand hectares. Waste and quarries, which are not operated, are 220 fields on an area of almost 1 thousand hectares. "Behind those statistics promulgated by the state authorities and local self-government, the region is not used 374 career on the area of 1.54 ha. Title documents for the right to use the land only has 71 entity on an area of over 520 hectares," - said Oleg Malin. Significant areas leased in Lanovetsky (176 ha), Shumsky (86 ha), Zalishchyky (55 ha), Berezhany (44 ha) and Terebovlya (42 hectares) areas. As a result, in these areas, local governments have less 604,5 thousand hryvnia. And only region in the budgets of local councils did almost 900 thousand hryvnias. In addition, in the region revealed 11 facts of use of land for mining of mineral resources without proposala documents for the total area from 39.27 ha. Stepan Barna said that recently visited PJSC "Ternopil quarry which produces sand and stone. "This company has paid almost 5 thousand UAH of payments to the budgets of different levels, and the company employs 274 people, - said Stepan Barna. Is a resource for use by the society. That is why we are interested to establish order in the sphere of subsoil use".
