Sixth April the Executive Committee of Lutsk city Council decided to declare the ordered competition for the best project proposal on the construction of the memorial complex “Eternal Glory” in Lutsk of Volyn monument to the fallen in the anti-terrorist operation in the East of Ukraine. Ten project proposals submitted to the competition, hosted at the art Gallery where they can view the Lutsk side. met with competitive proposals, the head of regional state administration Vladimir Gonik, city mayor Mykola Romaniuk, Deputy of the regional Council Volodymyr Bondar. After reviewing the work, Mykola Romaniuk expressed his gratitude to everyone who took part in this competition. “In my opinion, there is interesting work, but the winner will define jury of experts. We are also waiting for suggestions from the public, from members of ATU, from all who helped the soldiers which will be taken into account when summarizing. In the near future, you need to decide with the project proposal, because we planned on independence Day to open this memorial plaque,” said Mykola Romaniuk. The Deputy chief of Department of town planning and architecture Yaroslav Matveev said that within a month it was necessary to organize the best artists of Ukraine, so they during the Easter holidays could make an offer that would deserve attention. It is symbolic that the monument will be installed at the memorial “Eternal Glory” near of Hero of Ukraine Vasily Moses. “Presents ten works by five sculptors, that is, each submitted two proposals. It works from Kiev, Lviv, Rivne and Lutsk. Already a week of work on display, another week they will be here, so we invite the community to view and have their say in a special book proposals. Then there will be a meeting of the jury that when making decisions will take into account the opinion of citizens.
