26 may, on the basis of Vinnytsia regional clinical hospital of war veterans held a meeting of the II plenary Council of all-Ukrainian organization of disabled veterans, Armed Forces and combatants, which will be held during may 25-27 in the region. The event devoted to the topical issues of the status of implementation of the legislation of Ukraine concerning social protection of disabled war veterans and Ukrainian soldiers, wounded in a combat zone during the anti-terrorist operation on the territory of certain districts of Donetsk and Lugansk regions and the national military-Patriotic education of youth in the region. In the work of the Plenum was attended by the Chairman of the Presidium of the Council of all-Ukrainian organization of disabled veterans, Armed Forces and combatants, Alexander Mamatov, Deputy Director – head of the Department of communication of Department of information activities and communications with the public administration Vladimir Lazarenko, head of the regional clinical hospital of war veterans Valeriy babiychuk, the Chairman of the regional Union of disabled war veterans, Armed Forces and combatants Vsevolod, Kolchak, the Chairman of Kyiv city, Khmelnytsky and Volyn regional organizations of disabled veterans, Armed Forces and combatants, veterans, participants of combat actions in the ATO zone volunteers. "Last year our organization was reviewed approximately 60 appeals of the participants of the battle for social and legal aid", – said Alexander Mamatov. "Special attention is paid to support Ukrainian servicemen in ATO area due to their provision of clothing, food, medicines and the like," he added. Vladimir Lazarenko in his speech told the audience that in the region there is a Coordinating Council of veterans ' organizations, and the process of creating a single public organization of participants of hostilities in the ATO zone. "The national military-Patriotic education of the younger generation through collaboration with veterans' organizations give a very positive result," he said. Recall that in 2016 Vinnytsia regional clinical hospital for war veterans was recognized as the best institution for veterans in Ukraine. "Our hospital is a modern facility where all the conditions for a full recovery of our veterans," – said Valeriy babiychuk. Of the above issues adopted a resolution and prepared a petition to the Government of Ukraine.
