27 may in the Zhytomyr regional state administration held a round table "Program of economic and social development and the budget of Zhytomyr region in 2016", organized by the Department of information activities and communications with the public RSA together with the Commission on budget, economic development, international cooperation and European integration of the public Council under the regional state administration of Zhytomyr. Opening the meeting, Chairman of the public Council Volodymyr Stelmakh called upon the roundtable participants to work together to identify ways of economic and social development of Zhitomir region and to prepare relevant proposals to solve problematic issues. Professional moderation of the event was provided by doctor of economic Sciences, Professor, Chairman of public Council at regional state administration on budget issues, economic development, international cooperation and European integration Jozef Zale-Tsalko. The Commission members took an active part in the discussion of the report of the Deputy Director of Finance Department of regional state administration Victor Wenzel regarding the budgetary potential of Zhytomyr region in 2016 in terms of formation of state and local (regional, city, district, rural, settlement, territorial) budgets. The corresponding explanations to the participants of the round table on tax issues was provided by the Deputy head of the Main Directorate of DFS in Zhytomyr region Irina SWT. On the prospects of international cooperation and European integration of economic entities in Zhytomyr region in the context of the Association of Ukraine with the European Union, said Oleg Dotsenko, Deputy Director – head of investment-innovation activities, external relations, administrative and licensing activities and enterprise development Department of economic development, trade and international cooperation of the regional state administration. The participants joined the discussion of these issues and made suggestions concerning the possibilities of self-financing of the region and efficiency of using its own budget funds of territorial communities, stressing the importance of registration in the region, not outside it, both large and small business entities operating in the Zhytomyr region.
