In the Zhytomyr region private firm illegally seized state ponds and hydraulic structures
the Staff of Management of security Service of Ukraine in Zhytomyr region has exposed has exposed illegal activities of private enterprise, which for a dozen years operated illegally seized 14 95 ponds and hydraulic structures on the territory of Popil'nians'kyi and Ruzhinskaya areas. As these objects belong to the protective waterworks of national importance, they are not subject to privatization in General, and the lease is possible only by direct agreement with the state property Fund of Ukraine. Local society with the additional responsibility used structures and dikes without any legal documents, passports, water management operating rules, contracts of lease of water objects, documents mode, and the like. For the legalization of their activities, the fraudsters used the documents issued on liquidated at the beginning of 2000-ies of state-owned enterprise. According to the materials of the SBU, the police opened criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 197-1 (unauthorized occupation of land and unauthorized construction) of the Criminal code of Ukraine. Proceed quickly-investigative actions to identify and bring to justice all those involved in the fraud with state property.
