Minors that are contained in Chernihiv detention facility,congratulated the children's Day
the international children's day is celebrated annually on 1 June. This day was established in November 1949 in Paris by the decision of the Council of the International democratic Federation of women. For the first time the "international children's day" was celebrated in 1950, the year in 51 countries around the world. UN supported this initiative and declared the protection of human life and health of children one of priority directions of its activities. According to the Geneva Declaration on the rights of the child, adopted in 1924, was proclaimed the necessity of social protection of children's rights. Declaration of the rights of child was adopted on 20 November 1959 and proclaimed the equal rights of children in the field of upbringing, education, social welfare, physical and spiritual development regardless of skin color, nationality, social origin, property status and other things. The Declaration calls on parents, community organizations, and governments to recognize the rights of children and to promote their implementation. In this day hosts a variety of entertainment for children, including: competitions, gifts, concerts, various exhibition and educational activities. Has already become a good tradition to congratulate the minors that are contained in Chernihiv detention facility, with the new year festivities, International children's day, independence Day, feast of St. Nicholas. On the 1st of June – children's Day in Ukraine – Chernihiv detention facility was visited by representatives of state and public organizations, namely: the representatives of Chernihiv city Supervisory Committee of the Chernihiv city center of social services for family, children and youth, the charitable organization "the Chernihiv women's rights centre". They congratulated the minors with the International children's day and presented gifts: cookies, candy, stationery.
